Sally’s work is mainly hand built and sculptural. She uses a range of clays, enjoying the contrast between very ‘earthy’ raku fired and finer
porcelain clays. She often incorporates other materials and found objects to create mixed-media pieces. Currently her work is exploring the
intuitive nature of choosing materials and also the theme of resilience in human nature.
Sally studied Ceramics at Dun Laoghaire School of Art and Design in Ireland, Sculpture at Kinsale FE College, Ireland, and a BA (hons) degree
course in Contemporary Crafts at Falmouth University.
She has exhibited in Cornwall and in Cork and was previously a member of the Cork Potters Society, Ireland.
